Dublin city wedding always have a very special vibe about them. The streets are busy, office workers going about their day, and in the middle of it there’s magic happening. Laura and Tara’s 25 Fitzwilliam Place wedding truly was magical. Starting with a terrible weather forecast that changed as soon as Laura got into the car in the morning! The Child of Prague really did his job well on the day.

      First Look

The brides decided to do a first look before their ceremony, and it was the best idea! I love the idea of getting the photos done beforehand so you can enjoy more time with your guests. I also find this time to be incredibly emotional and sweet, and this beautiful wedding was no different. 25 Fitzwilliam Place has an elegant front room that’s perfect for a bit of privacy. I was even eyeing it as a back-up option for family photos later but thankfully the child of Prague kept the rain away again!

Afterwards we had a lovely stroll along the canal and even a cup of coffee from the cute Perch Coffee kiosk! It’s always lovely to see strangers wanting to share such a special day 🙂

Wedding Ceremony at 25 Fitzwilliam Place

The Gandon’s Suite upstairs is a spectacular setting for 25 Fitzwilliam Place wedding ceremony, with its rich dark grey walls, tall windows and the fireplace as a centrepiece. Laura and Tara decided to do an intimate ceremony for just their close friends and family, with an afters at Davenport Hotel in the evening. I really loved the idea as it made their ceremony really personal and special. Laura’s best friend Christine acted as a solemnizer, and I swear there wasn’t a dry eye in the room as Laura and Tara spoke the wedding vows they wrote for each other.
