Genevieve and Johnny – Personal and Wholesome

Genevieve and Johnny always knew they wanted their loved ones around them to celebrate their big day—it was never a question of eloping. Airfield Estate turned out to be the perfect choice for them because it’s not your typical cookie-cutter venue. With its quirky charm and wholesome charity vibe, plus their love for the outdoors, it ticked all the right boxes.

What I loved especially and what made their wedding truly special were the personal touches. Genevieve’s uncle, Warren, led the ceremony, adding a deeply personal and unique touch to the day. Her dad, Declan, delivered a speech that had everyone in tears—in the best way possible! The cake and flowers were lovingly created by family friends, adding another layer of intimacy and thoughtfulness.

It was also extra special for me to be their photographer because Genevieve and Johnny are friends with Hannah and Niall – one of my loveliest couples I got to photograph the year before. It was such a treat to catch up with Hannah and Niall on the day, and it’s always such an honour to photograph my couples’ friends’ weddings!
