Amanda and Paul: Christmas at Tankardstown House
Amanda and Paul chose a Christmas wedding at Tankardstown House, and the day could not have been more beautifully seasonal. It was bright and sunny from the start, but bitterly cold and wildly blustery — the kind of crisp winter’s day that looks incredible in photos but definitely keeps everyone on their toes. Their first look in the walled garden was full of emotion, laughter, and a very determined breeze doing its best to steal the show.
To their absolute credit, Amanda and Paul were total stars, embracing the cold and making the most of the magical winter light. The walled garden was glowing in the low December sun, giving us stunning portraits in the morning and again later that evening when the gardens took on a completely different, nighttime look.
The rest of the celebration unfolded in the warm, festive elegance of Tankardstown House. Their ceremony in the orangery officiated by the wonderful Michael Grace was incredibly emotional, filled with winter light and heartfelt moments. Guests were welcomed afterwards with mulled wine flowing freely during the drinks reception – the perfect way to thaw out and soak up the Christmas atmosphere – before the evening kicked off in style. With The Panoramics keeping the dance floor full all night and a brilliant festive playlist to match, Amanda and Paul danced their way into the night, ending a day that felt every bit as joyful, romantic and wintry as a Christmas wedding should.
Wow what can I say. From the moment we met you on Zoom all those months ago your professionalism and love for what you do have shown through. Your personality just clicked with ours and we knew it would be such an ease having you with us on the day.
Amanda and Paul
Saying that we never could have imagined how incredible you made us feel on the day. I know we mentioned several times how unnatural it is for us to pose for pictures but you made us feel so comfortable.
Then you sent on the preview last night and we will never find the right words to describe how that moment felt. The pictures are just out of this world Olga, we both said it last night you are incredible at what you do. I couldn’t sleep I just kept looking at the pictures.
