Christmas Wedding at Powerscourt House: Anna and Denis

Anna and Denis’ Christmas wedding was one of those rare winter days when everything aligned — sunshine, blue skies, and the softest golden light. They chose beautiful and grand Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry for their nuptials. But for Anna and Denis it wasn’t so much the grandeur but the familiarity that made Powerscourt “the one”. As a child Anna and her family took frequent walks around Powerscourt gardens, so it was a very special place for her and Denis to bring all their loved ones and celebrate their marriage. 

They exchanged vows at St Mary’s Church in Enniskerry, surrounded by family, friends, and the warmth of the season.

After the ceremony, we made our way to Powerscourt House, and the light was simply breathtaking. The long avenue was glowing, and the Sugarloaf stood proudly in the background, giving us that iconic Powerscourt view. Anna and Denis were so natural together, and the winter sun made every moment feel even more romantic. Even the lovely Powerscourt horses came to congratulate them!

What followed was an elegant reception and a festive candlelit dinner in the striking Georgian ballroom before dancing the night away. It was the perfect blend of festive charm and timeless elegance – a beautiful way to celebrate a December wedding.
