Dee and John: Summer and Badminton
Some wedding days just feel like pure magic, and Dee and John’s summer celebration at Cloughjordan House was exactly that. With the sun shining down and barely a breeze in sight, it was the perfect setting for a day full of love, laughter, and a few badminton games!
The couple opted for a traditional ceremony at St. Michael’s and St. John’s Church, just a short drive from Cloughjordan House. The historic church, with its beautiful stained glass and grand architecture, set the perfect tone for their heartfelt vows before they made their way back to the venue to kick off the celebrations.
Once at Cloughjordan House, guests were greeted with lawn games, drinks, and a relaxed, joyful atmosphere. One of the standout moments? Dee and John took to the lawn for a badminton match, much to the delight of their guests. And just when we thought the fun was over, John then went head-to-head with his new mother-in-law in what can only be described as the most competitive wedding match I’ve ever witnessed!
As the evening settled in, we snuck away for some portraits, and the golden hour light was absolutely breathtaking. The sun dipped just behind the trees, casting the most beautiful glow over the lawn. It was one of those moments where everything just felt effortless—Dee and John, completely in the moment, soaking up every second of their perfect day.
