Engagement Photos in Wicklow

Wicklow is the perfect place for engagement photos if you love stunning scenery and a touch of adventure. Known as the “Garden of Ireland,” it’s full of gorgeous locations that make every session unforgettable.

Glendalough is always a favorite. Between the ancient Celtic ruins and the tranquil Upper Lake tucked into a beautiful valley, it feels like stepping into a storybook. It’s perfect for romantic, timeless photos.

Lough Tay, with its sweeping views over the Wicklow Mountains, brings drama and beauty to every shot. The rolling hills and the dark waters of the lake make it one of Ireland’s most iconic landscapes.

For something a little more intimate, the ancient Irish forests scattered throughout Wicklow are full of quiet magic. They’re perfect for capturing candid, natural moments among towering trees and dappled sunlight.

If you’re drawn to the sea, Brittas Bay is a dream. The sandy dunes and open coastline create a relaxed, airy vibe that’s perfect for playful or peaceful photos by the water.

And for a touch of history and drama, Black Castle is incredible. These ruins perched on a cliff overlooking the sea are rugged, romantic, and absolutely breathtaking.

Wicklow’s mix of nature, history, and sweeping views makes it the perfect setting to capture your love story. Check out some of my favorite engagement sessions from this amazing place below—you’ll see why I love photographing here so much!
