It always feels really special when a couple from abroad picks Ireland for their destination wedding and then everyone has the best time! Jess and Dan decided to have their party on the gorgeous grounds of Tinakilly House in Wicklow, and Ireland couldn’t have gifted them a better day!

Coming all the way from Manhattan, they decided to embrace everything Irish – from greenery and shamrocks to Guinness and a ceili band! They also brought a few American traditions with them. Their close friends (all 18 of them!) were bridesmaids and groomsmen, making it the largest wedding party I’ve ever photographed. I also loved Jess and Dan’s first dance that they did on entering the gorgeous Tinakilly House pavillion set up for dinner, to the cheers of everyone around them.

The sun shone all day so Jess and Dan opted for a stunning ceremony in front of Tinakilly House, surrounded by centuries-old trees. We were also blessed with an incredible sunset shining onto the golden fields of wheat with the Wicklow mountains in the backdrop… When everything comes together like this it’s pure magic! As for evening entertainment, Jess and Dan invited a traditional Irish band and a ceili caller who spent the first part of the night teaching traditional set dances. I hadn’t seen so much laughter on the floor in a long time!
