At every wedding there’s usually one memorable moment that really stands out for me (and that I can’t wait to see in the gallery!) – a really emotional ceremony, gorgeous light during portraits, an exciting first dance.. When I photographed Megan and Greg’s wedding at the stunning Luttrellstown Castle I was really hard pressed to pick one moment! It was like they ticked every single box in the list of “amazing wedding moments”, and I got to capture it all!

The venue is, of course, stunning – Luttrellstown Castle has no shortage of gorgeous backdrops. Megan and Greg had their ceremony in the stunning entrance hallway, adorned with lavish flower displays by The Rosehip and Berry. Surrounded by their close family and friends, it was a truly emotional ceremony with a special tribute to Megan’s late mum with whom she used to be so close.

After saying hello to all their guests and great chats we had some fun wedding party portraits, confetti shots and seeing that incredible dining room for the first time.. just look at Greg’s face!

      Wedding Magic

And then magic started happening. The whole day had been quite grey with the skies on the verge of rain. I had a little break during dinner and went off exploring to the back of the castle where I found those gorgeous fields of wheat… And then the sun came out! I ran back to Megan and Greg who had just been served their main course. Who cares about food when we have the glorious sunset light for 10 minutes of the day! We made a dash for it, and those photos are definitely some of my favourites.

As if the whole day wasn’t enough, Megan and Greg wanted to vow their guests even further! They had done dance lessons to practice their impressive first dance routine (with lifts and dips!!). And then after a bit of fun with sparklers they surprised everyone with a stunning firework display in the night summer sky. What an end to a fantastic day!
