Michelle and Sean: January Sunshine at the Anglers Rest
Michelle and Sean’s January wedding at Wrights Anglers Rest was a beautiful reminder of how special winter weddings can be — calm, emotional, and full of warmth. Even in the middle of winter, we were lucky with gorgeous sunshine, setting a bright, joyful tone for the day.
From the start, their wedding felt deeply personal. It was about family, connection, and celebrating a relationship built on laughter, understanding and love.
The ceremony was filled with happy tears and heartfelt moments. Michelle had said beforehand how much she was looking forward to saying “I do” and finally calling Sean her husband, and you could feel just how meaningful that moment was for both of them.
Being surrounded by family and friends, and feeling all that love in one room, was exactly what they had hoped for.
Sunshine, Phoenix Park & Real Moments
After the ceremony, we took advantage of the winter sunshine and headed to Phoenix Park for portraits. The soft January light was perfect for relaxed, natural photos that felt easy and unforced.
Michelle told me that while formal photos matter, it’s the candid moments — the laughter, the unposed reactions, the in-between moments — that mean the most to them. Those moments unfolded naturally throughout the day, and they’re some of the most meaningful images from their wedding.
A Love Built on Laughter & Support
Michelle describes Sean as her biggest supporter — the person who makes her laugh constantly and understands her better than anyone. That connection was clear all day, in the quiet glances, the shared smiles, and the way they showed up for each other in every moment.
Michelle and Sean’s wedding was warm, emotional and full of love — a perfect winter celebration and a joy to photograph.
