I so often get asked for wedding videographer recommendations that I thought it’s high time I put together a proper list! I’ll be honest, I love working with videographers. The idea that my couples will be able to relive their day not just through photos but also hear their vows and the speeches again! Preserving memories is so important, and the more ways the better. At the same time it helps a lot when the two styles (photo and video) go well together and we can document the day really smoothly. So without further ado, some of the best videographers in Ireland I’ve worked with – and the results are always great!

So, without further ado and in no particular order, here are some of the best wedding videographers in Ireland I’ve met.

      Piligrim Films

Gintas from Piligrim Films is such an amazing and calm presence to be around. He calls himself a hopeless romantic, and you can see it in his work. I absolutely love the little details that really capture the feeling of the day, the subtle angles and movements, the sound that really shapes the story.

See for yourself! We documented this impossibly romantic Wilton Castle wedding, and every time I watch the video I’m fully transported back to their heartfelt celebration.

      Little Bear Films

I’m not sure what I love more – working with Kevin on a wedding day or the name he picked for his brand, Little Bear Films 😀 Seriously though, he’s a gem to have on your wedding day – incredibly professional, organized and great to be around. His films won’t have fancy transitions or special effects. They are timeless and elegant, something that you can show your kids and give them the perfect idea of what your gorgeous day was like. To Kevin wedding films are all about people and emotions, and his style is natural and honest. I guess that’s why working with him is so easy!

See Kevin’s work below at the gorgeous Tinakilly House wedding of Fiona and Owen. Then head over to my blog to see the photos from their day, and you’ll know exactly what I mean!

      Forget Me Not Weddings

One of the loveliest wedding videographers in Ireland – Nadine and her team at Forget Me Not Weddings. Nadine’s style is very discreet, with a focus on capturing your memories in the most fun and relaxing way. Their wedding films have a beautiful natural flow to them and true-to-life colours. Your day will be documented exactly as it happened, and isn’t it the best way of preserving memories?

      Make My Day Productions

Brendan’s approach at Make My Day Productions can be described in 4 simple words: simple, discreet, story-focused and fun! His cinematic videos always have these 4 elements, because that’s what wedding days are about, right? Brendan works quickly without much posing or direction. To him a wedding day is not just emotional and romantic but also fun, and that’s important to document, too! Finally, a wedding is first and foremost a story. It’s a story of your day but also your story as a couple, and this idea is at the forefront of all of his work.

Ailbhe and Ciaran’s Bellingham Castle wedding was one of the most beautiful stories I got to photograph, and I’m delighted we got to document it together.

      Old Pine Films

Besides being an extremely talented filmmaker, Paul of Old Pine Films is just fantastic to have around on your wedding day. He is super easy-going, and you can see it in his work as well through his natural and relaxed approach. I love the pace and the energy in it. His films are full of little details, fun moments and real documentary frames, capturing your wedding day as honestly as possible.
