Another fantastic wedding season is behind me, and I’m going to miss every moment of it! What a wonderful year it has been. I want to say a huge THANK YOU to each and every one of my couples for choosing me to photograph one of the most meaningful days in your life. I absolutely loved getting to know your stories and capturing all those precious memories.
I got to travel back to some of my favourite venues in Ireland and visit some new places I’ve been dying to see. I always feel so welcome in the fantastic Martinstown House, Bellingham Castle, Tinakilly House, and Marlfield House. I love the fun and elegant weddings of Dublin City Centre, at the breathtaking Dublin City Hall or historic Trinity College. I was also delighted to photograph my first weddings at Virginia Park Lodge and Segrave Barns – can’t wait to be back there again!
I was a little sad to miss out on some of my favourite times of year – vibrant colours of autumn and twinkling Christmas lights. But it was for a very good reason as we welcomed our beautiful daughter Sylvia in November. Instead of photographing gorgeous couples I spent time taking pictures of trees on my phone as I walked around with a very big pregnant bump 😀 And while I enjoyed the break (if anyone could call maternity leave a break!), next year I’m looking forward to capturing weddings filled with my favourite autumnal light.
Your reputation preceded you so we always knew you would be great but what was amazing was how in your interactions with our close family and friends you had such a huge impression on them all. You put everyone at ease and had such a natural way of capturing the photos, it felt so comfortable, like having a friend doing it for us. Our families kept talking about you throughout the weekend and how impressed they were with you, my grandmother in particular, and she is not easy to impress!!
We are crying all over again looking at these photos. You did such an amazing job, we cannot thank you enough for capturing these! We are so blessed to have had you capture our day 🙂
Wow wow wow, where do we even begin!!! I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve clicked through these photos, they are incredibly beautiful and somehow capture the feelings of excitement and love that we felt on the day. We can’t thank you enough for bringing your wonderful talent and skill to our wedding – you have a gift and we feel very lucky that you were available to share our day and freeze these precious moments in time for us!
The photos are beyond our wildest expectations— we feel taken back to the day, you are such a phenomenal talent and truly have a gift. We loved having you a part of our day, and we always felt so confident in our decision having you as our photographer in the sea of uncertainty that is planning a wedding!
