2022… What a Year! Choosing your favourite photos from an entire year is always incredibly difficult (how do my couples narrow it down for their wedding albums??). But how do you even do it after finishing the busiest season ever and photographing 65 incredible couples?
I want to say a sincere THANK YOU to each and every one of you for choosing me to capture one of the most precious and meaningful days in your life. To get to know your stories, to meet your loved ones, to hear your voices break during the vows and witness the way you look at one another. To capture the amazing moments between mothers and sons, fathers and daughters, grandparents and life-long friends. As fleeting as some of these moments might be, I’m so happy to see them live forever in your photographs.
I got to stay close to home this year and revisit some of my favourite places around Dublin. I might be biased but I feel like we have the best venues in the country, haha! I loved being back to the amazing Martinstown House, Rathsallagh House, Tinakilly House, Marlfield House, Bellinter House and Ballymagarvey Village. I also got to see some incredible new locations – Wilton Castle, Loughcrew House and Tankardstown House were definitely some of the highlights. And then it’s always special to photograph a wedding in the heart of Dublin, a city that’s always changing and always fun! Dublin City Hall, Smock Alley Theatre, the Merrion Hotel and the Shelbourne are always breathtaking. There were so many incredible locations I got to visit with my couples, I wish I could name them all but then you’d be in for an essay!
So, without further ado, here is a (very) small review of how unbelievable 2022 wedding season has been. Enjoy!
We just can’t figure out how Olga managed to capture so many gorgeous candid moments, and be in so many places at once! She blended into the day seamlessly which allowed everyone to enjoy it without distraction.
Wow, we absolutely adore these photos! We spent hours looking through them last night, there are just so many joyous moments captured!
We absolutely love the photos and have looked through them over 10 times already! You captured the flow of the day and all of the emotions, which made me very emotional when looking through them all. They are amazing, you really exceeded our expectations.
