I had so much fun showing Courtney and Alex around the beautiful Wicklow!

The two of them are from the US but relocated to Italy for a couple of years with Alex’s job and made sure to explore Europe when they had the chance. Beautiful Ireland was definitely on the agenda, and what better place to see stunning views than Wicklow National Park?

We headed to one of my favourite spots in Ireland – the breathtaking Lough Tay in Sally Gap. It’s also known as the Guinness Lake as it’s part of the magnificent private Guinness family estate that you can see from the top of the mountain. You can even spot some deer that live on the estate!

Normally Sally Gap is one of the windiest spots on the east coast. But that day we were blessed with beautiful still weather and a perfectly clear view of Dublin at the end of our trip. It’s amazing how such rugged beauty lies just a quick 40-minute drive from the bustle of Dublin!
